Cherry-Rita
If you like margs you are going to love this version of the “Rita”! This refreshing and colorful cocktail is the perfect summer drink! Sweetened with fresh cherries, they are anti-inflammatory and add a boost of antioxidants! Nothing like a clean and healthy cocktail! And feel free to use frozen cherries and serve this all year long!
Ingredients
1 c fresh cherries (pitted!)
Juice of 1 lime
1 cup tequila (I like Codigo!)
1/4 c triple sec
Sparkling Water (I like to use Waterloo lime)
Lime wedges for garnish
Instructions
Put the cherries, lime juice, tequila, and triple sec into a blender and blend on high until smooth. (A power blender works great here) Prepare four glasses with ice and add 1/2 cup of cherry mixture and 1/2 c of sparkling water to each glass. Mix well and garnish with limes. Makes 4 servings. Enjoy!
