Carrot Cake Ginger Smoothie

Start your day with this orange delight! Naturally sweet from the apple and creamy from the cashews. The ginger provides countless benefits, most importantly it is anti-inflammatory! Try this alongside one of my healthy breakfast eggs muffins or sweet potato pecan muffins.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of raw carrots (shredded)

  • ½ apple (cored, cut up, with skin on)

  • 1 T fresh ginger

  • ½ c raw whole cashews

  • 1 c unsweetened almond milk

  • ½ c ice

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a power blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
